Training is an integral part of the knowledge training. This page describes the key points of training your virtual assistant.

Configuring training settings

The training settings pane is displayed at the top of the window. It displays the current configuration and allows you to edit it. To do so, click Change settings.

Language

Specify the language by selecting the corresponding Language radio button.

Search type

• Raw: Result with the unmodified user string. Direct results from a knowledge base.

• Raw Kbot: Results that are obtained with the help of an enriched sentence, but without filtering and reordering.

• Kbot: Results that are obtained with the help of enriched sentence, filters, and reordering by Kbot.

Knowledge base

Select the knowledge base that Kbot should use by selecting the corresponding Knowledge Base checkbox. If no knowledge bases are selected, then all of them will be used.

Adding user statements manually

First you must specify a user statement that Kbot will process.

1. Go to Content > Knowledge Training > Training.

2. Type a user statement in the Input sentence to search field and press Enter or click Add sentence. Kbot performs a search across all available search engines and displays the appropriate articles.

3. If a suggested article is appropriate, and it matches a given user statement, click Train. Now the article is added to Content > Knowledge Training > Review.

Adding user statements from a file

The file must contain one column with sentences.

1. Click Upload sentences from file at the top of the window. The file selection dialog opens.

2. Specify the file that contains a list of sentences for training.
